A new TV landscape

Since the 12th of August 2005, the TV landscape in the Netherlands has changed significantly. A new TV station (Talpa) has entered the market and RTL's offer has been revamped to ensure full complementarity between its three TV stations.

The latest CIM study confirms that Bel RTL is by far the leading radio station in French speaking Belgium: for the period of March to May 2005, Bel RTL remains the market leader in French speaking Belgium with a total audience of 1 612 470 listeners (12 years +) and a market share of 21 per cent. Bel RTL leaves Radio Contact and public radio broadcaster Vivacité behind with market shares of 14.7 per cent and 12.8 per cent respectively.
