New Radio Stations in Greater Brussels

As of October 1st 2004 the city of Brussels has its own radio station: BXL, the French language spin-off of the Belgian RTL Group's Bel RTL station. BXL can be received in the region around Brussels. It positions itself as a true "City Radio", supplying the inhabitants of Brussels with local news and a music mix of contemporary pop and rock as well as classics spanning the past 25 years.

 
Fun Radio welcomes star DJ on Air in France and Belgium

On October 1st, Cauet- one of the greatest French Anchormen on Radio - has joined Fun Radio for the entertainment show between 7:00 and 10:00. Humour, interactivity and a spark of madness are the key words during this 4 hour programme. The show will also be broadcast on Fun Radio’s sister radio station in Belgium. Fun Radio in Belgium follows the same Programming Strategy and makes a clear mark on Young Adults 12- 34, which is as a result of mixing local Belgian content with French shows.

RTL Z, the news channel of the Netherlands

In June 2001, RTL Z ( Z abbreviated from “Zaken”, and meaning business in Dutch) launched in the Netherlands as a daytime Business service channel for the Dutch market. The channel has quickly grown to become The “News and Business” channel of the Netherlands. RTL Z broadcasts live on the RTL 5 frequency on weekdays from 8am to 6pm.
