The New TV seasons of RTL channels in South- Belgium

RTL Belgium’s new Autumn season can be summed-up in three words: leadership, consistency and complementarity between RTL‘s three channels : RTL-TVI, Club RTL and Plug TV.

Among a stable schedule of the leader Belgium generalist channel, RTL-TVI presents new Hollywood movies, the top international series, docu-fiction, shows and magazines including :

- Movies: the 5 episodes of Star Wars , Minority Report, Gangs of New York, Signs, Matrix 3, Harry Potter 2, Sum of all Fears, Taxi 3...
- Drama Series: Desperate Housewives, LAX (airport drama), The 4400 (sci-fi thriller), Cold case and new episodes of CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, 24, E.R., Lost as well as popular German and French crime drama (Une Femme d'Honneur , Wolffs Revier, …) .
- Magazines & Entertainment : all popular infotainment magazines are back for a new season . Novelties include “Docs de choc” (second look on contempory disasters : ie the Concorde crash, ...) ; “Ils sont fous ces Wallons” (amazing Walloons). "Il paraît que" (about rumors and prejudice) as well as a large range of special nights such as “Maigrir .. A tout prix” (loosing weight at any  cost).

 

Club RTL will broadcast cartoons from Disney, Warner and independent production houses in daytime as well as a family-oriented movie on Friday evenings. Drama series in access prime time (Gilmore girls, Sabrina Teenage witch, St Tropez ) will suit mothers and children while sport, action-oriented series (like The Shield) and movies will generate a large male audience at night.

Plug TV targets young adults with a programmes grid based on"trendy, sexy, edgy " drama series, movies, young culture and reality TV. Fiction output include “NIP/ Tuck” (plastic surgery), HBO’s “Carnivale”, “Sex & the City”, “Dead like me”, “L Word” , “X-files”, “Queer as folk”, “The OC” or “South Park”.  Plug also offer several music programmes, Manga and entertainment shows such as MTV’s Punk’D or French adaptation of  international reality tv formats such as "Le Pensionnat de Sarlat " (Boarding school of Sarlat/ That will teach them all 2") or “POP IDOL” (Nouvelle Star).
